You will be doing an internship at our Technical Operations department as a Lead Mechatronics Technician, where truly no day is the same. The industrial packaging machines are located in all sectors throughout the Benelux.

Core tasks of the internship

One day you perform maintenance at a warehouse, and the next day you have work at a bakery or a canning factory. Your duties consist of preventive maintenance, follow-up of service contracts, inspection and overhaul work, breakdown interventions, and maintenance engineering for our industrial packaging machines. We have a team of over 10 Service Engineers with whom you will be out on the road. Additionally, you lend a helping hand internally with various tasks to support our Service Engineers.

Skills

The student must possess a healthy dose of curiosity and a willingness to learn a great deal within the packaging industry. You will receive internal training so that you can subsequently perform increasingly more tasks quite independently, while also challenging your learning process. Together with all your colleagues, you are responsible for the proper functioning of our industrial packaging machines at customer locations. We are proud of our machinery and our customers and would like to share this with you. Your work is an important link in customer satisfaction and customer follow-up.

We have lunch together in the canteen and enjoy a closing drink with bitterballen on Friday afternoons. Additionally, we hold staff meetings where we look back on the past period and discuss developments within and outside Tallpack. This is always a pleasant get-together.
